I'm not sure if you've ever owned a vehicle with big tires....

without those mud flaps, i get about 50 new rock chips/scratches on doors/bed/roof a day

with...it's only 1 or 2 a week. My paint finish SUCKS now, and i'm too poor for the bushwackers I want.

In the very bottom picture it looks like your hood is spaced really far from the grille

Mud flaps keep the cops off your back here. Rock chips suck too, rhino lining rockers and dwn. Maybe one day when i get all the rusty spots fixed I can get some paint! Or not.

It's a ebay grille. The gap is too large, but all the aftermarket one's I've seen have it. The driver side is actually cracked from the accident, and it's zip tied from the back...for now.

One of my cab corners rusted out so fiberglassed the hole, then I kept doors opened, and bed lined from carpet down and around. It works/looks alright, and cost me about 40 bucks instead of $1000 to have body shop do it.

Put rear bumper lift on...didn't like how hitch looked. Going to fab up a steel bumper for front/rear. Works for now.

Gap Guards are on the way
