Noe.. And I agree, thats why I am going to something else If I am forking out the money again.. I have considered doing it myself. I can buy all the parts, have all of the hard parts cryo treated and put it together.. I have a stock trans that blew 3-4 so I can practice with that until I am confident in building it all by myself. At least that way, since I am doing all my own labor, I might as well learn to build a transmission.
5.3, small cam, 918 springs, 7.4 rods, walboro pump, Full built 4l60, 2800-3000 stall, TB spacer, long tubes, cat delete, single 3" exhaust with Aero bullit muffler. Flaco tuned.
I've got a FLT lvl 5 60E and I think I'm about at the limit with it. A couple of months ago Allen and I were trying to dial in a boost controller and saw 14 psi a few times before the trans started complaining. After the 6.0L swap, I'm nervous to put the 75 shot on it. Every once in a while it will complain (slipping on hard launches) but it's held so far. I haven't been to the track since the engine swap...I'm putting in an 80e as soon as I can afford it.
