So many times we have had people barf at the ACDelco price and buy the one from the parts store. No matter how much we warn them they usually come back within 6 months on the hook with no pressure.

I know you have used the ACD but I'm just throwing that out there.

Bad grounds wouldn't "short out" the pumps but they would keep them from running. Since your pumps are running but have lessened output they're either wearing out too quickly (fuel to blame) or there is a restriction somewhere in the system....even the FPR or return could cause a problem.

Are you sure the FPR is OK?

Never checked the FPR asked about it once never got a good answer. Would it be ideal to change? Anyway to go about checking it before getting a new one.

    I would.
Start at the bottom and work your way up with fuel system problems.

The OP said he replaced the filter every time and it's not a ground so we're on the same page as far as some other restriction for sure. Something like a bum FPR or a pinched fuel line I guess.

Umm...GM...? Gotta pop the top on the 6 to replace it but I'd rather it be proven bad first.
