Thread: 99 ls1 harness ?

    on the 99 ls1 harness when installed in 96 1500 chevy what do you do with the fuel tank pressure sensor,fuel level sensor,and things such as that ,do they have to be connected someplace for the computer to operate??

    pull the pins out of the PCM connector and remove the wires. Not needed. You don't even have to disable the codes for those. You can buy a f-body pump assembly and retrofit all the connections and mechanicals but that's just an exercise in futility.

    Redheartbeat do u have the pinouts on the 99 harness or the things not needed to run the engine and 4l60 how about all the grounds such as egr position sensor ground,ect sensor ground ,tp sensor ground, all these grounds im wondering if this has anything to do with the engine not firing any help is appreciated Thanks man Timmy
