After installing my sts kit it was obvious that i needed valve springs so Allen "detuned" my truck so i wouldn't tear it up til I got the springs in. Believe me when I say this was the longest 3 weeks of my life. $4000 worth of power and unable to use it. You could imagine the frustration. Got my new tune to go along with the springs and WOW. It took a few days for the computer to "learn" the boost, but now it's a blast to drive. I can now say that the turbo is definately worth the $$$. Thanks to Billy @ TRT and Allen Nelson.

Of course, now I can't stop. I want more. Ordered 2600 stall along with camshaft. E fans are next. I WILL be on the fast truck list.

what camshaft did you order to compliment your turbo? Can't use just any old cam when turbo'd. When you going to post some drag strip times? Have you put a posi in it yet? What gears are you running?

Allen chose the cam and I have no idea what the specs are, but I'm sure it's right. Truck has posi already. I believe 3.73 gears with the LT towing pkg (not sure). Was going to track tonight but I may be going to pick up a new ride, 87 Buick GN. I've wanted this car since high school and I found a 33k mile car in LA.

Pics will be up soon. Hopefully from the track!

Cool car, the GN. I was a signature away from buying one in 1987. I think I'd rather fly out to LA to pick up the GN than go drag racing.

Brandon, thats great that you are finally getting the real potential out of it. I told you it was there.
We are just about done with the front mount intercooler on this Yukon, and it will be badass. We had one made that has rear facing openings, so the install will be even easier. We will be done Tuesday and I will send pics. We also put in an LS6 cam and springs. This truck, like yours should be fun!!

I'm not a traitor, but YES I did buy the GN. Drove it home today. Super clean car, very proud of it. Will get it in drag strip shape in no time. I'll wash it up and post pics. BTW I didn't go to LA as in Loa Angeles LA as in Louisiana ( only 4 hr drive).

Hey Allen, can you tune it? It has a load of bolt ons with the scanmaster and 3 different chips.
