Years ago before the world of BIG rims came out and the systems got MORE outrageous. Seeing a OBS Truck bagged out on a set of 22s with a nice system was what you could expect to see. Still fuctional for the most part. If you took DBRODS truck back about 7 years he would be on the cover of one easy. NOW you haft to have some WACK airbrushed paint job, 10000k plus worth of system, couple screens where the driver or passenger would never be able to see them and oh yeah lay-out on 26s.... useless in the real world

I didn't even bag mine. not that theres anything wrong with it. but since I didn't bag it. I assume it will never be in a mag. my back sticker on the '85 says 'NO BAGS, NO SWITCHES, NO FAT B...... i'm not allowed to say the last word

The two magazine examples you provide are the same to me and are nothing at all like Jon's....Jon's RUNS 1st and looks cool second despite whatever his goal might have been...at least to me. He doesn't have a bunch of paint like they did in the 80's, 90's, and the 00's.

most of the paint reminds me of the 90s sport trucks. I have no problem with bags and paint it however you want but theres more that can be done to a truck then screens and subs. Lets see some variety!

I feel ya but let's see cookie cutter stock looking trucks that are FAST.

It was really really fun for me to get to follow RedHeartbeat to Ennis with him in a truck that looks old because of the body style and looks kinda stock. It was just as fun to see GMCwantsLS1 run what he did with low trap MPH on the brakes in a truck that looks like a stock old man truck.

It's kinda like the blue 4WD truck that got so much play in Hot Rod without the $100K that I'm into.

I agree. I see nothing wrong with putting a plain stock (as far as looks go) that's fast and had alot of blood sweat and tears. that's what it's all about. maybe we should all start our own mag......

Bingo. I stopped buying that magazine, too many dubbed out lambo'd piles of wannabe ricer crap in that rag.
