    I was talking to an old dude at the track last night who said his buddy has an LS1 engine with Evinrude coil packs on it? Weird. Never heard of doing that before.

    I wouldn't even think to pull a set of and try. I'm not convinced that changing to the msd for $800 is worth it unless you had to replace them anyway

    to me they made a little difference but the main reason i did it was because half mine were already going out

    Yeah that's what I mean. I don't think they would make em worth $800 unless they're going out anyway. Assuming they really are $100 each

    Stock coils not only work well but they very rarely fail.
