I traded my 93 2wd for a 95 4wd. well i took it out playing in the mud last night and i couldnt get the 4wd to engage. My clutch is shot could that be my problem? the 4wd light dosent come one either when the selecter is moved. i no longer have the truck that is in my avatar, ill get some new pics shortly. Thanks for any input. i also need some KC's for it if any bodys got some.

STD OR EXT CAB? I have an almost new set of black nerf/step bars for a EXT cab laying around in the way. If it's a long bed I have a 3" roll bar that would look good in there too after a little paint.

Does it have a body lift on it yet? I have 3" blocks from a 2wd lift, should work on the 4wd body, and I have a full set of the rubber lift lips that fill the gaps in created by the body lift. I have the steering shaft extension for the body lift kit, also. Not too sure if I have all the bolts for the kit or not. I also have the front bumper relocator brackets the raise the bumper up to the body.

As far as the 4wd not engaging, there is a temp actuated solenoid in the front diff on that body style if I rember correct. It usually is the cause of the 4wd not engaging. Good luck

Did you check the thermal actuator? I also have been told on the pre 99's the wheels have to make 2.5 rotations b4 the front axle will engage. Hope this helps.
