    I have lifter ticking as well. Some times the lifter tick really loud and then go away.
    Truck 2002 Chevy with
    old setup KB turbo kit MP70 LS1
    New setup stock for now

    by any chance did the lifter spin in the holder last time?
    2002 Lightning - GT headed 5.5Litre w/ Twin 7665s

    Well, I guess it was an assumption that you do that when you replace lifters. A metal piece being retained by plastic? Come on Marky Mark! Its like going though and replacing the brakes on one side of the car, when it is common knowledge that you replace the brakes on both sides... No worries man.

    like i said my motor makes a similar noise. i just did the typical check up on it and all check out good. its a bad lifter and mine is up front on passengerside
