I pick up a 1991 gmc 4x4 ex. cab with 250,000 miles on it. Has been used for work and has a few scraps and what not. The truck drive until it gets hot then the tranny wont shift. 4x4 works ac good and cold and motor seems strong. My plans are to sell the truck. What should i do sell as is? Fix the tranny and sell it??? Thanks

Sell it as-is and disclose whats wrong with it when you do.
Make sure its full of water and maybe put in a new stat, too.

We'd have to have pics and other details and we'd need to know where you would like to try to sell it. Also need to know how quick you need it gone. I'd say a rough guess is $900-1600.

Kinda the 1990 white reg cab 4x4 got painted black new carpet new front grill and lights and sold to my younger sister that needed it more then me.
This new truck me and a friend pick up for next to nothing and are just going to turn it around and sell it. I will get pics tomorrow.
So yes as long as trucks fall in to me for next to nothing then i will not turn them down when i can make a few extra bucks.
