    You can get an LS-X block for half that
    or just get an LQ4/9 block and have it rebuilt as a 427 too.

    There are some features on the LS7 itself that make it
    more expensive I think.

    i wouldnt go 427 on a 6.0 iron block but a lsx block go for it

    There is expensive stuff in the LS7 like titanium rods.
