I don't post up too much what I've been doing, it is not a secret, just haven't said much. I have a STS kit sitting on Allen's floor and will be going next Saturday. In addition I have 42lbs injectors (thanks Jerry) a new driveshaft (aluminum 4" w/high performance u joints) and a driveshaft loop. I ordered the GT67 with a bigger housing. When I first did the LS1 swap I would have never considered a turbo, but with STS I've seen the light. I'm loosing the cats and figure I'll have to get used to it being loud. With tuning I'm hoping to be over 400WHp and in the 12's with stock boost (I guess we'll see how much abuse a mildly modifyed 4L60E will take). We will dyno it right before and after the install. Hopefully some track time will post up some new numbers. My truck has always responded well to mods and I'm hoping this will be more of the same. This is a custom install of a STS kit and I'm sure can be made to fit other combos. Don't hold back, just say what you think LOL!

Man I always liked your truck(even though it was a bitch at times). I thought about buying a Denali many times! I hope you find the vehicle you will love as much, but I'm sure you will alway miss/think about your truck. Someone will get a hella deal on buying it whatever thay pay for it. What is next?

Is the STS the one that mounts under the truck? If so, how hard woud it be to do a twin turbo set up that way?

Yes it mounts under the truck. I'm sure twin turbo could be done, but the lag might be real bad, depending on the size of the turbo ect. Most twin turbos i.e. Supera's are two independednt turbos, one comes on at low RPM's the other at high RPM's. I think most setups use one turbo even in raceing apps.

What about a stall. To me that is one of the best mods you can do with the STS.
You could loose a little gear if the chance came up.

That might be a good idea. I had a stall before and had zero traction even with my slicks, so I'm sure it will get worse with the turbo. I might even go with a good bit less gear like maybe low 3's.
