I will say it again. there is no substitute for the best. I have been running my truck around like crazy for 3 years with an FLT level 5. I have over 500hp 4wd and drive like a bat out of hell. I also tow a 14' trailer that has seen 100mph loaded behind my level 5 . Guys will swear they can do what FLT can do. They think they can but truth be known they have no clue. The only other person I would consider building me a transmission would be a guy on Silverado SS he is in Texas. PM me and I will tell you his name.

Never heard of them. Seems like the same tranny... almost as far as components used. I didnt read where they included warranty. How long is theirs. The reason FLT comes highly praised on this site is they stand behind their work. Not many bad experiences have come from that crew. Only 1 that Ive heard of and they actually did him decently for a Tranny OUT of warranty. Most companys once a warranty is out dont want ot hear from you again.

    $350 for install?

Drive up here and bring $100 and I'll swap it for you in an hour and a half after work when I'm tired.

Depends on what you're throwing at it of course, but I threw a turbo and a 75-shot at mine and it's still running strong.

Trying running a "shop" sometime and you'll understand why professional
    mechanics charge what they do.

having said that, your guy was WAY high on the trans rebuild, but about
right on the pull and replace quote.

Agreed...my comment was for private profit not real life pricing.
