A converter looks thousands of times in it's life, it won't hurt anything, but if it stays unlocked and you travel a long distance, the trans might heat up if you dont have a good cooler

I have a 30k gvw cooler with a 10 inch fan mounted to it.

I just went out and commanded lockup and it seemed to work for a bit and then unlock. The TCC slip would range from 200 to 700 at times. but mainly its about 200. I dont know much about the TCC duty or any of that other mumbo jumbo, but if anyone does I can tell you what the numbers are. If I hold the gas steady, it will stay locked up fine unless I go up a hill. If I put it on cruise it locks in and out.
