    ive always wondered if you got a huge gob of assembly lube on the timeing ring (or what ever that sensory marker on the back of the cam is) if it would throw this code/have this problem

    did you get an ls2 cam by chance? Is it an LS6 regrind? Pull the cam sensor out and look for the cam timing ring.

    that would be a problem if you did.
