    Question swap Questions

what all would be associated in doing a dmax swap into a nbs z71, granted I had a complete motor and trans, would the auto trac still work and the wiring just seems to be a total mess to figure out. any help would be great, everyone talks about it but mine is paid off now and I will do it if I can get help.

I think this (to use Greg's term) would take cubic dollars to pull off.

    That said, good luck!

ok so far there is a company in colorado I think that does swaps on burb's, so I sent him an email asking about the wiring and custom programing. Even offered to buy a conversion kit if he will sell one without installing it. The email is sent if he will only respond? www.duramaxsubirban.com is where i found the info

ok got a email back and this is what the a** said

"I am sorry, we do not sell a kit, and needless to say, I cannot tell you how to do it.
Your Avalanche must be 3/4 ton, and If your truck is complete, meaning the donor motor and tranny are still in it, we can do the conversion for you,
It would cost approx. $9,000 in parts and $16,000 in labor. The only problem then is, we have a 12 month waiting list, and it requires a 10k deposit
just to be on the waiting list. Then, in 12 months, you would have to get everything to me here in denver, and then it takes us 8-10 weeks to complete it.
This is the only option I have for you..
Let me know if you want to do that!
    Thanks for your interest!"
