you can still turn it down, just do it at the rear bumper. I did my GTO that way and it still sounds like most other dumped exhausts to me. Another way is how I have my truck, two pipes directly off of the flowmaster ran over the back axle and angled down and out. It sounds like a dumped system and is barely audible at 60+.

LT's with the magnaflow would sound good I think . . .maybe just get a polished tip and exit it out right where the stock exhaust came out. . just my

Get an exhaust shop to fab you up a 3'' intermediate pipe with a Magnaflow, that's what I have on my little 4.3.

I didnt consider that it was an suv. How about a side exit, like a sport truck exhaust? Either way, custom seems to fit what you want.

alright im debating on what magnaflow to get! i want something that will sound good and be loud enough but not too nuts when i put the lt's and ory on. im looking at either the 14in or the 18in but should i get an oval case or the round case? ive been browsing sound clips and find some sounds i love but cant get all the specs on the setup. im thinking about talking to a few shops this weekand see if anyone can get me the exhaust side coupling thing thats used to mate the y and rear section together so i dont have to hack up my stock exhaust cause if i can id like to keep it 100% intact. all i wanna do is run 3in pipe magnaflow and 3in single tail over axle and pointing out stock location but id like to kinda have it tucked up and hidden. anyway thanks for the help so far guys!
