Same Thing Happned to me on and off seemingly forever(I figured out Pressing The tow/haul button would make it catch instantly), It was once in a blue moon kinda thing, Pushed it Reealy hard one day and it quit. 3 months later Tranny Go BOOM ! 1st and reverse only. Allthough Our Driving habits are probably A Great Deal Diffrent, ..I agree it's a Good idea To keep $$ For another Trans, got my replacement @ a junkyard for $400, From a 99. Good luck!
