Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

[Today 01:39 AM] Quik: the wilder it is the more you brag about it ot friends
[Today 01:39 AM] Quik: lol well no body truely needs hp but we like it just like we like sex

Nice truck! I'm a 5-speed man myself, wish I could have found a V8 when I was looking for my first truck, found one with the 4.3 5-speed combo and bought it real cheap (I'm a tech at a GM dealer) It works good and is pretty quick for what it is, but soon it'll be getting a 5.3L or 6.0L and I'll be staying with the same transmission until I break it. After that I'll go for a T-56 and obviously 4:56 or 5:18 gears for the 0.5:1 OD.

My 96 pickup was a 4.3 with a 5 speed. It was peppy for a little V6. Sucks cause my syncros just went out about a month ago. still holding together but I have to be nice to it. But next week I should have a new transmission and center force clutch in it. then the 6.0L in the next month. Turbos will come later cause I'm broke. And yes I said Turbos. gonna do some twins.

My '98 S-10 FOUR cylinder 5-speed NVG3500 had the same trans and broke synchros behind the 2.2. They're pretty weak.

Yes they are. I just replaced a customers last week. It only had 4th gear. He actually drove it to us like that. You could smell the burning clutch when he dropped it off.
