Hey guys, I'm posting my ? here, appreciate any help. Im getting my butt kicked by my truck! My service engine light came on and had it read. I was told that my O2 sensors were bad. So I replaced both sensors, b4 and after cat conv. Also I changed plugs and wires, and fuel filter. From that point on my engine was idleing rough, and almost dying. I put the old plugs, then wires, then removed the hypertec, back to stock. Almost seems worse. I'm sure I'm not the first or last. Thanks

Check your fuel pressure. Sounds like you're running low on fuel pressure.

If it's anything to do with the exhaust it may be a bad EGR Valve. I know when those get stuck they hold the exhaust in the engine and kill it.
I had to have mine replaced and it cost me like $170 in all.

Hey guys, just got back from the shop. The word is, bad O2 sensor. Yes, the brand new sensor was bad. I am still steamin, but not too bad since I can return the bad sensors and get my 130 bucks back. Now my truck runs like it should! Thanks for the help

Nothing chaps my butt like replacing old defective part with new defective parts and the problems don't go away. It makes you think something else is defective and you just wasted money replacing good parts.
