I have 5 1/4 s in the back of my truck. Mine didnt require any trimming. The magnet fit in the hole perfect and I made new mounting holes.Originally Posted by NITROUS
I use a small air powered reciprocating saw and a rotary file. I'm going to try and stuff a set of 5 1/4" components if I have enough room by the 3rd door. Those 5x7's will sound much better than the 4x6 plates. I'm on my 3rd set of Kappa's and just blew out the drivers side again.
