Thread: 5x7 in Rear of 95 Ext. Cab

    I use a small air powered reciprocating saw and a rotary file. I'm going to try and stuff a set of 5 1/4" components if I have enough room by the 3rd door. Those 5x7's will sound much better than the 4x6 plates. I'm on my 3rd set of Kappa's and just blew out the drivers side again.

    I have 5 1/4 s in the back of my truck. Mine didnt require any trimming. The magnet fit in the hole perfect and I made new mounting holes.

    Found a shorted speaker. Sending 'em back for replacement. Took a little trimming to get them in, but the 1 that did work sounded great! Guess i'll wait a few more days for the new ones to come in and finish up. Now I want to put an amp in, but too much headache with a stock HU. Maybe.....
