Allen is taking care of the tune for me and yes I am already equipped with a Vortech Supercharger with 7 psi...going to install the intercooler to lower that intake air temp...change the pulley and push a few more pounds of boost through her (10Lbs) Allen said that I would be safe with 10psi and a good tune. Gotta get those air/ fuels right or else. The transgo with the 60e is a patch to get me to the next phase. My long term goal from here is to roll with what I have and then in the near future I am going to first install a built 80e with a stall and bolt it up to the 5.3 for now and run it for a bit. Then save my pennies for the 6.0 and build it up a bit with pistons and rods, cam.. etc. Then off to the Lone Star state to see Allen and company and install the turbo kit By that time I will already have everything in place for the new engine to bolt to. Sounds easy enough right....wrong....nothing ever goes easy after stock. It's kinda like being a not so good looking guy in a room with a bunch of pretty ladies.......you take what you can get !! So for now I will take what I can get. Hitman I have 65k on the truck..not bad for a 00 model. You metioned other "little" parts to install with the transgo. sep plate, servo check valve, aluminum or pinless accumulators etc. Care to elaborate on this a bit more. Will I need these other items that you mentioned. Like I said it's the little things that will hang you when you least expect it, and somehow, I can already smell that new rope. Break it down !
