I have had my stock shocks on for almost 90000 with the front cranked about an inch and change. My stock shocks are the Z71 shocks which are longer that the others. Aside from them being old, i have had no reason to change mine out. They will get replaced soon. Ride didn't change much for me either. Which leads back to my question, is 2 0r 4wd?

You need the longer shocks cause the ford keys crank you up to like 3". Stock keys You can only go up to 2" if that. Thats why you get away with it. I ran stock shocks on ford keys cranked to the moon, busted those in a heartbeat

That makes more sense. I thought he had said 2 max but it was more than that. i had cranked mine up 2in too then i looked at my tires and heard a clunk while turning and decided to drop some. I was a newb at the time.
