Can't push it forward. Can be pushed backward though...

I've already decided (early this morning) that I'll take both rear assemblies apart, replace both cylinders, shoes, and turn the drums (if necessary). Gotta bleed the lines... that's a must, and good insurance. Hadn't done any brake maintenance in quite a while. Drove it to/from last week, but felt it'd be better to fix the issue that's getting worse... rather than let it get any worse.

Maybe I'll post pics for LS1Truck members' viewing pleasure.

They work in reverse many times when they're barely applied due to a stuck adjuster or ebrake.

I pulled the drum off a couple of weeks ago, and checked the adjuster (located at bottom of the assembly), and recessed it by several turns. Put it all back together, and drove truck forward without issue. After driving to the store, it quickly readjusted. Wondering about the e-brake cable because I can't quite remember how it's set up. Sis-in-law is keeping kids this weekend, and wife works on Saturday... SO... I'll look at everything on Saturday.

after a few hours of multiple disassemblies & reassemblies, I replaced the shoes, and hadn't had any issues for the 1.5-hour test drive. The drum still take a bit of wiggling to R&R, but all seem to work well. I'm wondering if the Fireston that put new tires on the rear overtightened the lugs, causing the studs to stretch. May replace those, but not sold on that yet...
