It does seem low. Single exhaust kills it for sure, but I am not sure that much.

Are you sure it is an LQ9 and not an LQ4?

It came out of an 06 Denali so that makes it an LQ9. It's a 4wd btw, the current tune is leaps and bounds better than the origional tune I got. The first guy who tuned it did a ****TY job, i'd say about 80% of the parameters he left untouched from my 5.3 tune.

It's low IMO. The homo 5.3 Y is prolly killing a lot but I'd wanna know more about the tune as well. A 6.0 Y isn't a Y at all since the 6.0 stuff puts two pipes into the muffler. I can't run my stock manifolded and stock mufflered LQ4 on a regular dyno but I bet accepted formulas would put my WHP at more than that considering the 14.8-15.0 times mine runs at around 5800 pounds and minor mods (87/89 tune leaves a lot on the table).

Mine did 267/296 with stock everything - manifolds, intake, exhaust - from the 4.8L. That was a 2nd gear pull. Could just be a dyno that reads low.

267/296 from a really all stock 4.8? You have super baby LS then. I think you got a hold of a dyno that reads high....and the fact a 2nd gear pull will skew the numbers too. Had to pull 2nd because of stock tune hitting fuel cut off in 3rd?
