i would prolly say like 3k. but like i said im not sure yet what all i am going to do engine wise, i can get parts at wholesale price so that helps me alot.

i might even just say srew my lq4 back home, and just buy a ls1 here in phoenix. south dakota is along way to bring a motor.

Good idea! You can find an engine at a junkyard here like its nothing....ok well you do have to do a lil bit of searching and what not but where wouldnt you?

yeah i thought about that last night, and it seams alot more logical for me to find one at a yard someplace. btw what is the going rate for a ls1 these days, $900? and a t56, $1200? so i would be looking at around $2100 on a drive train if i kept it stock. i can get a s13 with a blown head gasket, straight body, interior is still there for $750.
