Has anyone painted diamond plate or a toolbox i have a regular aluminum one and want to paint it black but from what people have told me paint wont stick to it good and it will flake any ideas????

How much $ is powdercoating?

You can paint it if you want and the paint will stick very good you just have to prep it properly so that it will stick.
It would be much cheaper to sell your current box and buy a black one. Unless you rattle can it.
