An L33 is a Gen III motor. No Gen IV L33 motors were made. The LH6 is the Gen IV aluminum 5.3L motor...and the LC9 is the FF aluminum 5.3L Gen Iv motor.
But like I said--he needs to go look at the motor and check for casting numbers.

Well he has a Nissan 240sx...planed on using the 5.3 with a turbo in the car...but 3 weeks ago bought a NEW LS2...and now he is gonna use that in that 240...this will be his 3ed 240-LS Swap...He had one with a 4.8 and an older one with a LS1 and this one...now gettin a boosted LS2
Him being a good friend offerd to sell me the 5.3 he got when he started this swap for what he has in it... $600 Basically the injectors and the cam. The heads came off one of his LS1s? I guess...
I think Im gonna either wait and get a 6.0 or use my tax money and buy a built LS2...The only downside of the LS2 is I dont have the fun of building it myself...
