Yeah only ittle bit, but enough to make a mess if you do not put a catch pan or shop rag under it. Just take your time like I did. I actually lowered my tranny a bit to get teh old servo out and the new one in. Watch that inner spring it can be a bear. Well it was for me.
Are you talking about the heavy spring housed inside the servo? If so, I just used a c-clamp to compress the spring, making it easy to r&r the retaining ring.
