I got popped for 108 I think the cop said. It was right before I left for basic training. Told him a story about how I just put in a shift kit and different gears and how if I got a ticket like that they might not let me join the military. This was on Beltway 8 in houston. Cop only wrote me for 9 over. I did have 3 chicks in the car with me at the time so that may have helped. I'm just glad he didn't clock me before I started up the over pass. I had just started to let off just in case there was a cop on the other side and bam. Before he could catch up I had already exited and was waiting in the parking lot of AMC 30

Biggest ticket i got was 65 in a 35 which was $300, but my friend who has a modded STI got a 131 in a 65 and after going to court for it...somehow got off it

I'm thinking that maybe the good thing about knowing someone.. I couldn't imagine getting off on a 165... at least where I live.

I actually had just washed my truck, it was a total mess from snow, I should have told him I was just trying to dry it off...

I just finished taking defensive driving online (finished it about 2 minutes ago haha), for my first ticket I got. Similar to yours I was popped for 47 is a 30, ticket was going to be $183 but with the defensive driving its down to about $100 with court costs, plus I will get a discount on my insurance. Another good thing is it wont be on your record if you take DD.

My first ticket was a bunch of s**t! I was between a semi and the wall on the freeway...semi starts coming at me....what do I do? That's right speedup so I don't die. Get around the semi and WHOOP WHOOP!!! Wrote me for 85 in a 65. Stupid SOB!!!

Well luckily the next ticket I got he couldn't prove how fast I was really going...even tho I was followed at "95-100" for over 2 miles....at the time speed limited was still on...so I got a criminal ticket I think they worded it zspeed exceeding 85 or some stupid s**t! Went to court and plead guilty so I had to pay $350 instead of $500 and do up to a month in jail....oh and not to mention get my license revoked.

to no ones suprise i am one of the lucky few to be in the 100+ club but its been twice for me once when i was 16..146 in a 65 i went to jail but the cop was a cool mofo and wrote it for 30 over he said thanks for letting him open up his camaro SS interceptor didnt get license back for a while on that one, the bout 2 1/2 years ago i got busted in washington state goin 110 in 50.....still payin on that bitch, no jail time judge said since i was in the service and i had no criminal record i just had to pay the fines, like i said im still payin on it oh BTW thw one in wash was an unmarked car once again i have no license

134MPH in a 55 I was comn from Austin one nite goin back to SA in my 5.0 when some old man in an RX7 decided to have a go, I didnt lift until he did! Turned out his brakes were better, I tried to hide the ticket from my pops until the insurance called him about it. 900+ bux. Luckily it was back in '98 when they werent as tough on that kinda stuff.
