    cam & stall

    ok, I ordered a tR220 from thunderracing today patriot dual springs, and titanium pushrods and vigilante 3000rpm stall from them.. I'm excited! Waiting to see what my truck will do with this setup.. I need a tranny cooler for sure.. Any advice? Also will port and polish my heads with a 3 angle valve job.. Is that going to do me any good? Thanks!!

    tru-cool 40,000 GVW stacked fin cooler. OregonPerformanceTransmissions.com has a pretty good price on them. Don't get the one with the bypass valve that holds the oil out until it heats up. You sure aren't going to need that in Mexico.

    all right bud! I will look in to that cooler, I just want to get this setup working right and see what my truck can make.. I don't know how much my tranny is gonna hold up.. Thanks bud!

    Yeah, I can't wait to get them installed.. The only pain in the butt is that I have to drive all the way up to San Antonio to visit Allen for a live tune cause I'm not sure about the mail tune, not that I don't trust Allen with it, but I want to make sure that everything is running good cause I don't want to hurt anything from the truck or at least try to stay as far as I can from that.. I don't know what else can I do to my truck after this mods.. I mean N/A..

    Im with you on this one man. As soon as I finish up the 6.0 Im gonna take a trip out to him and have it live tuned!!!! Whooo...

    That cam and stall should wake the truck up a lil bit. Definitely get some vids up ASAP. Ive got a video camera waiting to film some good footage...come up to the valley and we will get some vids going.

    Live is better, but i bet he has done dozens with the same combo. BUt like you said live is better. Yeah its rough for me he's about 15miles away

    hey bud what do you mean a lil bit? I thought they would wake my truck pretty good.. The guy from TR told me the 224 was huge for my 5.3L.. Right?
