    Corvette rims on a Denali?

I was thinking about putting rims on my truck. Havent seen some that i like except the C6 rims was thinking putting on my truck. the corvette is 5 and the truck 6. Would i be able to put them on some way or has anyone seen this done. Also maybe could buy the rims solid with no holes and just get a shop to make the holes for me any advice.

Adapters for 6 lug to 5 lug are very expensive and I'm not sure the Corvette wheels would handle the weight of the Denali very well. I have 2000 model C5 Wagon Wheels on my truck but its a 93 with 5" x5 bolt circle to 4.75" x 5 bolt circle adapters 2" wide to make the transition. The wheels are pretty stout with being about 4" wide spokes.

ive seen 30 spoke wire wheels on denali's tho...15 and 17's.

dont know if wire wheels are made stronger but i know 30 spokes were made just for cars.

and i know vet wheels gotta be as strong as those

I would be afraid of doing that.. The fact that the c6 weighs just over 3000lb. That is near 800lb per wheel (I know its not 50/50 front back). My truck ecsb, weights over 4700. Thats about 1175lb per wheel (again I know its not 50/50)

When braking or accelerating, the weight on the wheels can nearly double. So 1600lb for the vetts front when braking (heavy braking), and 2350 for my truck under heavy braking. Thats over 800lb more weight on the front wheels under braking.

So obviously, would you think its safe to put wheels designed for the vette on you truck??

Spoke wheels actually can handle an amazing amount of weight. The reason, all the spokes distribute their weight evenly through out the wheels. Think of a road bike, lots have less than 10 spokes, and have no issue with weight. On a truck, lest say mine. 1175lb per wheel, not take that and divide it by the number of spokes 30, and you get 40lbs per spoke, not much.
    - Waiting for an lq9 swap - Super 40 center in dual out - battery swap to spare tire location - exhaust turndown -
