I said that IF the NHRA allowed turbos is the pro classes the records WOULD BE SMASHED AND BROKEN AND BLOWN AWAY (pun intended) by the turbos...but the NHRA is stodgy.

Why was my quote taken as being against turbos...?

What is a Thrush bearing....? Is that like when you get a fungus inside a spinning supporting roller device?

Wildman, did you write that long post on page 8 yourself or is it a cut and paste?
I am a die hard blower guy but Yes i have a Great love for all FI stuff rather then nitrous..... Why dont you take a min to read up on "Outlaw" turbo combos....... YES the power is there......... YES the make more then nitrous and superchargers.... Yes they make more Hp more L... NO HP and dyno numbers dont win every 1320 Drag Race No cannot compete at a Pro Level going 6+ rounds in 1 day and No turbo car will Hold a Pro class Record in NHRA or IHRA Outlaw or Other anytime soon... Just on the Deam o Meters !

They won't hold records 'cause the NHRA won't allow them in Pro classes....'cause they'd make the old school look silly.

I think you're still confused dude. I'm saying the same thing as you are but you're arguing. You might not know what an NHRA pro class is. There are three (unless you count pro stock bike).

    Top Fuel Dragster
    Top Fuel Funny Car
    Pro Stock

That's it. There are no other pro classes. The NHRA does not allow turbos in these classes. They do not because a turbo car would blow away the roots cars and unblown 9800 RPM pro stock cars.

What is your confusion and why I am I still being misquoted by ONE person?
