1500/2500 swap does the same as the ferd keys. They are each clocked different in respect to the TB orientation, thus allowing more or less torsion, leading to lift or drop.
I don't agree that they don't affect ride quality, because either way they do. Maybe minimal, and acceptable to some, but I hated it in my dropped truck.

Of course they affect ride quality, they ride like crap most of the time lol. Bilstein does make a shock specially made for our trucks with ford keys though and if you arent cranked to the sky it rides a lot better than any other aftermarket shock with keys. A lot of guys on fullsize run them and love them. The 1500 Keys are the same as ford keys in a 2500 though? I thought the ford keys are clocked way more than the stock 1500 keys though? Maybe Im wrong I dont know
