    what other options are out there for this? Something i can find at a local store?
    I need to fill the tank up and i can't really find a chemical warehouse.

    Isopropyl rubbing alcohol will cool the charge. People have been running it through engines for years. It will give you a good boost. Watch your KR and check it out.

    Allen, it sounds strange, but windshield washer fluid is mostly methanol, just with a little color and soap. I'm not sure I would just use this, but some say they do.

    That's different, windshield washer fluid as methanol. I would have never thought of that. I guess you know methanol is methyl alcohol or also known as wood alcohol.

    Just give it a shot of Jose Cuervo. I'M with Greg on this.

    What are you trying to do, boost octane? There are some alternatives like alcohol stated by Greg or options like MTBE or TETRAETHYL LEAD. I'm sure we can come up with something. After all I do work for an oil refinery that makes gasoline. LOL
