    e-fans worth it?

Thx for all the great info, u guys must not sleep too far from your rides! I've noticed on all your mods every body is running e-fan of some sort. I understand they cut down on rotating mass, but do they cool the same as mechanical? Is the ls1 fans or other OEM's better than the aftermarket? Sorry my replies aren't very fast, I'm working all this on a blackberry!!!!!!! And between my 2 little boys ages 6 and 3, well you guys with kids, you know!!!!!!!

The one that is broke is always the heardest to get to...drivers side last bolt next to firewall/broke flush with head. Might go ahead a get a CAI,while I'm ordering, looking towards a Trick Flow CAI from Summit, looks to be same as a 77 K/N,but less money. Unless u guys know of better piece
Well, once you get the manifolds off, there should be a slight numb you might be able to grab onto with some Vise-Grip pliers. See if you can't get it off that way. But like I said--you will need to take out the inner fender liner to get a good handle on it. The steering shaft will also need to be disconnected.

E-fans help out by cleaning up the look of the engine bay, cut down on the noise with the mechanical fan, and give you more room--but not to mention the savings in power and fuel economy. The power increase is decent. But since you do a lot of towing, I would just stick with the mechanical fan.
