no need to replace the lifters not the rockers, pending on lift will depend on the springs and locks and retainers

by not replacing the lifters it will cause faster cam wear wont it? so no need to replace lifters or rockers? i plan on running a 220/220 on a 581 lift. comp 918 springs hold up to .625 lift so that should work right? i've never done a cam swap in a gen III motor so i have questions

WWW.LS1HOWTO.COM check that out for how to do it properly on an Fbody. Never replace the lifters unless you're having problems with them or you pull the cam out and a lobe looks as rough as concrete.

Roller lifters don't have to be replaced with a cam unless they're messed up. Flat tappet lifters should always be replaced with a cam (unless you have the secrets).
