You don't want to baby it or detune it at this point. The 80 eats a lot of power, is expensive, and will be a hassle.....but once it's done, it should be done for a while.

Convert to FLT 4L80. Then FLT rebuild and sell 4l60?
FLT Rebuild 4l60 and reinstall it.
