I have never heard a stock v8 vehicle that didnt sound like a stock v8 vehicle. Just never convince me that a v8 conversion will ever be sleeper status in a non v8 vehicle. My lil bro stuck a 40 series and single 3" no cat on his 5.3 and I swear, its the quietest (at idle) damn vehicle I have ever heard, I think its quieter than stock, believe it or not but even then, you know its a v8.
A v8 car that knocks out 800hp but sounds like a stocker, now thats a sleeper. A 4banger runs 11's and gets 30mpg, looking OE, thats a sleeper.
proves my theory, think this falls in the, they were idiots catagory.idk, back when i was running stock wheels and had a bed cover over the fuel cell and battery. i had 3" 40 series flowmasters dueled. poeple would be looking around to see where the sound was coming from.

i do agree it is cool, probably one of the coolest cars i have ever seen. ill look to see if i can find one. its up there. on the sleeper thing, its true, id even point it out to my friends when they road with me. say i was sitting at a light and someone was pumping gas at a gas station on the corner. id see them looking around looking for an older muscle car or something other than a s10. then my light turned green and i took off, then they realized all the noise was coming from me. then word got around and it wasnt a sleeper anymore. people knew.
