$40 is really cheap for 30 GM head bolts. I'd say if you can buy all 30 for that cheap, buy 3000 and sell 100 sets on eBay for $48.95 per set. Might as well make $900, no?

I personally would get ARP anything that's torque to yield (heads, mains, balancer, etc.)....

If you plan on doing this build yourself, get the $479 Snap-On digital torque angle (also N/m and in/lb) wrench 'cause the GM spec comes out to around 240 ft/lbs on the balancer after all 5 installation steps (install it with the special tool installer <two steps>, seat it with the old bolt to 240 ft/lb, torque the new bolt to 37 ft/lbs, then torque again to 140 degrees)....

I'd also say go with 3200-3400 stall and 4.10's no doubt. Put that with the 112 LSA and you'll have a hot rod for sure. Get bored? Throw 150 at it....
