dont drive a rcsb but i do have a ecsb, dunno how different it would feel as per stall but i have a tripe disc PI 4000 and under normal conditions it feels like stock until you jump on it. personally think a good tuner can fix any problems prone to a larger stall.. basically what youre wanting to do and the mod list you have it seems like you want the POWER if thats the case dont be shy of going big specially in a RCSB..

Sounds like a great set up. I am changing to a 220-224 soon. Why the lower LSA though. I may be wrong but if you dont want to run a larger stall cant you get like a 115 and have a bit lower power band? (Im new to cam specs) Because when I called tsp that is one of the things they noted was for me to keep a higher LSA.

high lsa are good for daily drivers and manditory for boost and since its not gona be daily driven might as well do a 112 111 lsa with a 3800 or 4000 stall i wish i had a biger stall and i have 112 lsa for my dd but i also think that my uncles big block 1/8 mile monte carlo is fine for a dd

Even though he doesnt drive it everyday it seems he is wanting to keep it with good street manners. He could probably bump up the LSA on that cam and have a good truck with that 3k stall. But if he really wants it to be fast with a NA truck you're right he needs to go bigger. So its really on how the OP wants to go.

The 112 LSA is just what comp had listed by default on their web site. I might go with a 114 to widen the power band and help its manners a bit and with comming in the future im sure that will help also. Going with at least a 3200 stall verter probally a Vig or circle D. What kind of head gaskets should i get to keep compression the same and stand up under the N2O.. ARP head bolts are just peace of mind for me, i will also be buying all new comp valve seals, retainers, locks etc, i just wanna do this one time and have it reliable for as long as possible..... When I blow the bottom end out of the 5.3 then maybe i'll Get me a 6.0.....

why not just get a set of PRC springs..they are a dual spring that handles a .650 lift and come with new lock and retainers for about $240ish and for head gaskets go with stock ones..they are a 3 layer metal gasket and have held some serious hp numbers

V, do you have the PN for the new 5 layer head gasket from GM?
