I'm new to this board, but i'm no stranger to LS1 truck performance.

Been an active poster on LS1 tech for a long time, and vist CTW and FSC often.

My name is Tyler, and I drive a 2004 Regency RST Silverado. I just traded in my 03 Silverado ("The Demon") on October 30, 2004.

I have plenty of pics up here:

Welcome to the board! Why did you trade in the Demon? Did you get another 4.8L?

Look at my pics of the new truck and you'll see why I traded in The Demon. (see the above link)

As for the track, within one or two months I should have my Westers tune or a new Nelson tune on the truck. As well as my gears and Eaton posi, and Dynatech Supermaxx system. Then I'll hit the track and see how she's doing.

I'm not going to take the truck to the track while i'm breaking in the motor, and I want to break in the gears at the same time I'm breaking in the motor. I just don't see any stock passes presenting themselves.

Hopefully I can still cam it and be under warranty. If not then I'll just have to let the dealership install a Procharger....

Welcome. Put you a STS turbo on it and leave the rest alone.

    Onyx,

I have been a member of LS1Tech for almost 2 years and a member of FSC for almost 4.

I assure you I travel outside of MCT quite often.

I don't like the STS kit. I see way too much water and other road nastyness getting inside the filter and into my intake tract. I also don't like such expensive equipment tucked under the bed.

If I get a turbo, it will be some type of under the hood rig. So far, Procharger is my favorite forced induction option.
