On my swap I used the F-body oil pan with no problems at all and the f-body manifolds (both off an 02 motor) with no problems. My upper control arm mount on the passenger side required some notching. As far as my tranny crossmember I was able to notch the factory hole.

This was all a 2002 LS-1 automatic into an 1988 1 ton silverado that had a 350 and a 3 speed auto.
