It's a little more to swap L92 heads and intake than just a good set of heads but I bet it's worth it. First off the intake uses a 90mm TB and it's a better overall head design than the other LSx heads. I read where a guy went from a Radix supercharger kit to ported L92 heads/intake and put in a better cam and gained several tenth in the 1/4. That's crazy going from FI to N/A and gaining. If I remember right he also had Patriot ported 317 heads with the Radix and a cam made for the Radix. I would definately go with the ported heads though.

Oh and I don't know where you get the L92 having bigger chambers. LQ4 and LQ9 engines (with aluminum heads) have 317s which are 72cc while the L92s have 70cc.

You're right.. I must have got the two heads mixed up somehow whenever I was writting this. Anyways, I think I have decided to just put a cam in my 5.3 and play with what I already have in my truck. Thanks for the info though.
