    Will i notice a difference? 3.42's to 4.10's

    Hey guys i dont post here much but i'm starting to mod my truck a little now...I have an 05 crew cab 4x4...i picked up a complete front diff with 4.10's and i pick up my rear ring pinion and install kit tonight. I'm guessing i'll see quite a difference in the behavior of the truck with these gears. I have a wait4me tune and going to have him send me a reprogram for the gears, i plan on doing long tubes in the spring so i'm waiting on a full dyno tune at my budies shop. This truck is my daily driver and work truck (own a lawn care business). I'm trying to think of what else i can do to it to make it a better tow vehicle without selling it and buying an HD!

    what are you going to do with the front diff that has 3.42's?

    Holy crap, you migh finally get your gears!! Went from 3.73 to 4.56...Huge difference, 4.8 can actually spin them 35's

    for sale, you interested? 42k miles on the truck...but dont use 4wd much.

    youle feel a big difference in the pedal response and gas mileage,mine seems to be sucking gas like a tractor trailer.
    mods:2004 sierra ext sb,20s ,big brake kit w,hawk pads,air bagged,2006 6.0 lq4 swap,vortec supercharged10psi, air to water intercooled w/ dual electric fans on it ,snow meth injection kit,60lbers, e-fans ,big radiator swap ,cam 218 /222 548/550 comp .hardened prs .1.85 comp roller rockers ,guideplates ,crane double springs,trans 4l65e built .pacesetter l/ts true duals w/x pipe and magnaflows,14 bolt rearend swap ,3.73s,aroemotive fuel pump system w/elec.fuel controller and bypass regulator a/n fittings, taylor 10.5s interceptor gauge,aem w/b a/f ,autometer boost/vac NELSON 93 OCTANE TUNED .
