    Hahahahahaha

    Long tubes build torque.

Ask anyone with a large inch Buick, Pontiac, or Olds how long their tubes are.

I dont know about that, I did some research and if I did longtubes with my setup and cam I wouldnt benefit at all and I would actually lose torque. I heard longtubes arent good for 4.8s?

Then again you still have the supercharger right chevrolade?
I know nothing about benefits from being boosted with longtubes on the 4.8s...

My long tubes work great. With long tubes, intake, tune... i made
266whp/277tq stock it puts out 220whp. you'll never have great low end, without a bigger motor or FI. IMO reinforce were you do make power. If your motor makes more power up top on the rpm range, giving it a mod that makes low end, will hurt some were it makes power. The way I see it, since I don't really make a whole lot of power until about 3000rpms, might as well support that and make more power up top. You can get a stall, and/or nitrous to help down low. Along with gears and such.

Long tubes: Look awesome, make your truck sound awesome, give you more power.

Shorties: look better then stock manifolds.

    Are you stalled yet jeff?

So you didnt notice a loss in the low end with longtubes?
How do you like your 4.10s?

I didn't notice any loss with long tubes on the bottom end. Bottom end was the same, top end was better. I did notice a difference between strait pipes and a race muffler. That's were I lost low end. If you want good low end power increase, get a supercharger, and some gears. I prefer that top end power.

My mistake. I always thought long tubes killed too much back pressure.
