Billet Servo Installation

Does anyone know if the vette servo will work in an 08 silverado with a 5.3. I ordered the vette servo kit and called a transmission shop with a question about the o rings and they told me that the new trucks already come with a vette servo. i dont think this is true but i would like to find out more before i take out the old one. thanks in advance!

I know this topic is about the billet servo, but I thought I would add that I just installed a vette servo into my 06 4l60e and the parts looked exactly the same. Vettte servos being stock parts in newer transmissions may be worth looking into if your planning to instal one.
