between 8:1 and 8.5:1 should be sufficient with aluminum heads. I would check into getting the compression chambers coated too if there is someone local that can do it. Popular Hotrodding had an article this month about being able to run more compression without detonation simply by coating the combustion chambers and valve faces. I would shoot for 15 lbs of boost and try more since you can monitor your knock sensors.
