    Raced a SRT-10 truck.

After fixing my tranny, I drove to Slimsilverado's house to show him the truck. Drove arouond and he liked it. He said the same thing Kurt said, I need a stall.
I left and drove home. On the way A srt-10 ram pulls up beside me. Dark grey, and it was a manual. I give it a little gas while he is passing, and he goes by me at about 50... hears me, then slows back down. We get to a red light, and he said '' that thing sounds nice man, is it fast?'' I asked if he wanted to run, and I guess his brother or teenage son, kid next to him nodded real fast. Light turns green, we had a long corner until any kind of strait away. I turned my bottle on, it was cold. I thought oh well we will see what happens. We do a 50 roll and I spray. from 50-120 we were dead even. I Watched my wide band and it said 10.0-10.4 Too Rich!!! should be at 11.9 or so.. I knew it was either empty or just really low on pressure. Ran again, and same thing happened. Rich as hell, but stayed with the srt-10. I got the nod, and he asked what I did to my truck. I told him its a little 4.8 with a cam. He was amazed, and said his just had a throttle body, and like something else... pretty much stock i think.
Don't know what they run stock, but it was a single cab srt-10 6 speed. EDIT: I wonder if I didn't spray, if I would have beaten him, because I was running too rich?

I ran one the other day on the way home from the airport. no spray and handled him easily. He did stay up close though, almost made me reach for the bottle.

Yea those trucks run high 13.9 or 14.0 in the quarter im sure they are better once they are moving. I must say Jeff truck runs good once it gets up on the cam. Above 3k its a beast and im sure the more the tune learns the better it will get. But hanging with a srt-10 which cost over 40k is awesome for a ex-cab 4.8. Nice Jeff that should be considered a KILL

Nice Dude! I'll say it again that 4.8's got some nizuts... I can only imagine what it will do with spray and ideal AFR.
